AeroGraphics Announces Winner Of SnF Custom Graphics Package Giveaway

Bob Miller, Come On Down!

AeroGraphics Design president John L. Knolla told ANN this week about the winner for the graphics package give away at the Sun N’ Fun Fly-In.

"We are pleased to announce that Bob Miller, an RV-8 builder from North Dakota was selected out of several hundred entries at our booth and he will receive a complete custom graphics package of his choosing, in applique or spray mask format, up to $1,800 in value," said Knolla.

Miller joins last year’s winner Herman Leong -- whose GlaStar just received its new Air Force-inspired graphics package -- and previous winners such as Joe Gagnon and his Kitfox IV.

As the lucky winner, Mr. Miller will be able to choose from one of AeroGraphics Design’s many existing "pseudo-custom" designs, or have a completely unique scheme designed for his RV-8. He will then be able to select to receive that design as a spray mask, or as a large format graphic applique kit.

Recognizing that the winner could be a builder and not immediately ready to take delivery of their graphics package, the contest allowed that the winner could take up to 18 months to pick colors and take delivery. Mr. Miller’s RV-8 is reportedly nearing completion, and is ready for paint.

AeroGraphics Design exhibited in a large space in the Southwest Exhibit area, near the Moto-Art display (from the Discovery Channel show "Wing Nuts"). The space provided room for a complete exhibit as well as space to demonstrate installation techniques for vinyl graphic appliques and paint masks, which occurred throughout the Fly-In.

"We had a great time again enjoying the opportunity to visit with so many of our customers at our exhibit and specifically to offer the chance to win a custom graphics package of significant value. Our forums on Paint and Graphic Scheme Design and Installation of Vinyl Graphics were again very well attended, providing the opportunity to share advice and give confidence to the do-it-yourself attitude that makes sport aviation so unique and enjoyable." said Knolla.

The forum presentations provided technical information, time for questions and answers -- as well as Knolla’s well-known sense of humor. (People showed up anyway -- a grinning Ed.)

Due to the great customer response at Sun N’ Fun, AeroGraphics Design is offering a 20% discount on any design work or graphics packages ordered before April 30.

"Shows like Sun N’ Fun and Oshkosh and the regional fly-ins give us a great opportunity to visit one-on-one with many antique and classic, warbird, GA, experimental and now LSA pilot/owners about their needs and expectations in finishing and personalizing their aircraft and how our capabilities in the design, manufacture and installation of vinyl appliques or computer-cut spray masks can not only meet those needs but also get them in the air faster." said Knolla (above.)
