BAA Training Establishes Aviation Training Base In The Middle East

Offering Type Rating, Cabin Crew And FFS Services In Sharjah

BAA Training, European standard aviation training center, continues spreading its presence in aviation training world. The training center is expanding its services to the Middle Eastern market by establishing BAA Training UAE training base in Sharjah, which offers Type Rating, Cabin Crew training and FFS services.

In cooperation with strategic partners, the aviation training centre Pier 7 Aviation, BAA Training UAE is equipped to provide Type Rating and Cabin Crew training, full flight simulator dry or wet lease services. The new location of Boeing 737 CL and Airbus A320 full flight simulators complements 26 existing BAA Training’s locations.

Throughout the past year, BAA Training focused on business development in Asia and Asia-Pacific as the aviation personnel shortage in the regions is continuing to rise. The academy has also acquired approvals for pilot training from Laotian, Malaysian, Nepalese, and Seychelles authorities. According to aircraft manufacturers, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East are the fastest growing domestic aviation markets globally.

“Companies managed to find the synergy needed allowing implementation of long-term plans. This is an exciting and encouraging development for BAA Training as well as our partners. The ideal location at the junction between Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia gives Sharjah an advantage and allows BAA Training to offer solutions that are in much demand in the region. BAA Training UAE aviation academy is the type of facility which will help building up the talent pool of aircraft personnel essential for region’s growing aviation sector,” comments Egle Vaitkeviciute, CEO of BAA Training.

BAA Training UAE is located at the Pier 7 Aviation headquarters in Sharjah, where two EASA certified full flight simulators are set at the moment: Boeing 737 CL and Airbus A320. All aviation training and local clients’ support – transportation and accommodation will be ensured on Sharjah training base. A wide range of aviation services enables both companies to guarantee tailored, flexible and highly-responsive service to suit everyone’s needs.

“It takes time and effort to build a stable platform in aviation field. However, it is easier with a strategic partner. The ambition to grow and synergy between both companies encourages us to work with BAA Training. Customer focus is and will be the main objective of our common project,” notices Kevin Brent, the CEO of Pier 7 Aviation.
