MIT Enterprise Forum Of NYC To Host Panel On Aerospace Entrepreneurship

April 22 Event To Attract Investors Looking For Long-Term Growth Potential

The MIT Enterprise Forum of New York City (MITEF-NYC) tells ANN a panel on Investing in Aerospace Entrepreneurship will be held on April 22 in midtown Manhattan. The event will start at 5:30pm and be held at Eisner LLC.

"In these difficult economic times, investors are evaluating all opportunities with an increasingly critical eye and are looking for new investment opportunities with long-term growth potential and near-term visibility," the group tells Aero-News. "Aerospace and defense technologies represent a fertile area for investment, but have so far been targeted by a limited number of specialized investors."

The panel discussion on the potential and the challenges of investing in the aerospace industry will feature four industry investment and entrepreneurship experts. Dr. Laurence Vigeant-Langlois, Vice President at CIT Aerospace and MITEF Board Member, will be moderating this panel.

"I look forward to a rich discussion relevant to both potential investors and entrepreneurs seeking growth capital" says Michael Dyment, CEO and Managing Director at NEXA Capital Partners, one of the panelists. "It is a timely period to address the rewards and challenges of aviation infrastructure investments such as NextGen".

Other panelists will include Dr. Jill Wittels, Corporate Vice President, Business and Technology Strategy at L-3 Communications, Joe C. Parrish, Vice President Research and Development, Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation and Hoyt Davidson, CEO and Partner, Near Earth LLC. The panelists will share their informed perspectives on topics related to unmanned aerial vehicles, satellite technology and relevant acquisition areas of a major aerospace and defense player.

"I am really pleased that we have been successful in assembling such an impressive panel group" asserts Dr. Vigeant-Langlois. "I believe investors and entrepreneurs with an interest in the aerospace industry should not miss this event" she continues.

Registrations are open on the website of the MIT Enterprise Forum of NYC at the FMI link below. The event is sponsored by Eisner LLC and NEXA Capital Partners.
