PRODUCT: Certain General Electric Company (GE) GE90 turbofan engines.
ACTION: Final Rule
SUMMARY: This AD was prompted by a report of an engine and airplane fire.
This AD requires replacing affected fuel/oil lube/servo coolers (“main fuel oil heat exchangers”) with a part eligible for installation.
The FAA is issuing this AD to correct the unsafe condition on these products.
DATES: This AD is effective May 22, 2017.
