Trainer Goes Down West of Chicago

C-150 Wreck Closed Roads, Stopped Trains

The little Cessna went down, for reasons we don't yet know; a fire followed the crash, and that fire has been blamed for delays in identifying the pilot.

Additionally, the crash, near busy Irving Park Road and Rodenburg Road in west-suburban Schaumburg Township (IL), closed both streets; even the commuter train was late getting through.
