Brings 15 Years Aviation Experience To The Position
Matthew Doyle has been named vice president, sales and
marketing, for private jet travel company Flight Options. The
appointment becomes effective Dec. 6. In this role, Mr. Doyle, who
has more than 15 years of experience in the aviation industry, will
lead the sales force in the execution of Flight Options' sales and
marketing strategies and will be a member of the senior management
group responsible for developing those strategies going
forward.
"We are pleased to welcome Matt to Flight Options. His extensive
experience in the fractional aircraft ownership industry and strong
leadership skills will add another valued resource to the Flight
Options team," said Michael Silvestro, Chief Executive Officer of
Flight Options.
Mr. Doyle joins Flight Options from Avantair, where he was
senior executive vice president, sales and marketing. While there,
he increased Avantair's market share to 11 percent from six percent
in less than two years and increased card-program sales 143 percent
in 2010. Mr. Doyle was also a sales manager at Cessna Aircraft
Company.
Mr. Doyle received a Bachelor of Science degree in
organizational leadership from Daniel Webster College, Nashua, NH,
and an Aviation Science degree from North Shore Community College,
Beverly, MA. He is certified as an airline transport pilot and a
flight and ground instructor and is a member of the National
Association of Sales Professionals, the National Business Aviation
Association, and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
