Coming To New Orleans In February 2009
Noted aircraft designer, visionary
and aerospace pioneer Burt Rutan will be the keynote speaker at
next year's NBAA Leadership Conference, themed "Winds of Change,"
to be held in New Orleans next February 18-19.
Hosted by NBAA's Corporate Aviation Management Committee, the
Leadership Conference provides two days of valuable management
information and networking opportunities with the industry's most
successful leaders.
Rutan's accomplishments are monumental, and his innovative ideas
have heavily influenced aircraft design. In his career, Rutan has
earned virtually every honor the aviation world can bestow, and is
widely regarded as one of the world's most important industrial
designers. His prolific contributions to air and spacecraft design
have propelled the industry forward for decades.
At NBAA's Leadership Conference, Rutan will share his personal
success story and provide his predictions for the future of space
flight, as well as the work he is doing today to inspire creativity
and innovation within the aviation industry.
Other presentations will include The Spencer Johnson Group, of
"Who Moved My Cheese?" fame, BridgeWorks, an authority on
maximizing employee potential, and Craig Zablocki, who uses humor
and a lighter approach to leadership to encourage and inspire
employees.
Presentations will provide practical and proven insights for
effective workplace management and leadership, and each of the
Conference sessions will have time set aside for discussing
real-world applications for the topics presented. Participants also
will be able to gain valuable contacts and useful views from peers
facing similar workplace challenges.
