FreeFlight Systems Announces New Director Of Sales And Marketing

Peter Ring Promoted From Aftermarket Sales Manager

Peter Ring has been appointed as FreeFlight Systems' director of sales and marketing. Based in Irving, Texas, Mr. Ring is responsible for the implementation of sales initiatives, objectives and policies, data collection and market analysis, and overseeing staff operations, business planning and budget development among additional duties.

“Pete’s leadership ensures we continue to effectively meet the needs of our clients and dealers through
his knowledge, skills and hands-­on approach,” said FreeFlight Systems CEO Tim Taylor.

With more than 8 years of experience in the avionics manufacturing industry, Mr. Ring brings outstanding credentials to his new role.

Known by industry peers as “the ADS-­B Expert,” Pete most recently served as the global aftermarket sales manager for FreeFlight System responsible for detailed data tracking, communication with global dealers and the development and execution of trade show presentations.

Prior to joining FreeFlight, Mr. Ring held a sales leadership position at the Avidyne Corporation and is an active pilot with more than 16 years flying experience holding both private and commercial / instrument certifications.

“In this new position, I am excited to expand upon our current sales initiatives and assist the aviation community in the understanding and adoption of NextGen technologies,” Mr. Ring said.
