Wipaire Certifies Hartzell Trailblazer Propeller on Cessna T206H

The Trailblazer Prop Conversion Is Said To Improve Takeoff Performance, Climb, And Reduce Weight

Wipaire, Inc. has announce the certification of Hartzell’s composite Trailblazer propeller on the Cessna T206H.  The prop is available for both floatplanes and landplanes and Wipaire says it boasts increased performance in both configurations.

As tested on a Cessna T206H equipped with the Wipline 3450 floats, the Trailblazer offers an 8% reduction in ground roll and water run compared to a metal floatplane propeller, according to Wipaire.  Their test showed prop also gives a 5% increase in climb and removes the RPM limitation, while giving owners and operators a 9-19 pound weight savings on the nose, where it means the most on floats.  The 84” Trailblazer propeller is approved in the United States and Canada via Supplemental Type Certificate SA04053CH.

 “The Trailblazer prop pulls hard and really performs,” Bob Wiplinger, CEO of Wipaire, stated.  “It’s an improvement in every regard, from weight to thrust to climb performance, and that makes it a great prop on floats.  Its shape and design also make it a quiet prop, which keeps your neighbors happy.”
