ANN E-I-C Note: It’s been a while since I had the chance to sit down and do a flight test report the way that I want to… at least as far as the flight dynamics and writing are concerned. ANN is simply too time-consuming to allow for much in the way of 'extra' projects right now, as we recover from all the added issues that the pandemic has dumped on us. I’ve looked forward to this one a great deal... and it appears that the wait was worth it… In the next 5 (possibly six) parts of this 8000 word magnum opus, we will lay out ALL the nitty-gritty of our flight test and analysis of the Pipistrel Panth
Both the Ohio Aerobatic Open scheduled for October 15-17 and Spring 81 scheduled for November 7-8 have canceled their contests. Although both were eager to hold their annual contests, they both have opted to have practice days. Ohio, IAC chapter 34, had enough pilots, judges and volunteers to hold a contest and could comply with their state's COVID-19 guidelines, but a late start on an airport summer resurfacing project has left the ramp space at 50% capacity...
