Arsenal of Democracy Delayed to Today, Saturday

Even an Historic Remembrance Has to Hold For Weather

Due to weather conditions, the Arsenal of Democracy Flyover, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, was unable to perform Friday's flyover as planned. They plan to perform the aerial tribute on Saturday, September 26 with the first formation approaching the National Mall at approximately 11:30 AM ET. The route and participating aircraft will stay the same.

Crew of 'Old Glory' Discusses Forced Landing

"We Are Grateful There Were No Casualties."

Earlier this week, we reported the forced landing of a highly valued B-25 Mitchell bomber, 'Old Glory' that was on its way home from having been shipped back from WWII celebrations in Hawaii... many questions remain and the NTSB has barely had time to look the situation over. Now, however, we've heard from those on board the bird, themselves, via messgaing on the aircraft's home website...
