HC-144A Ocean Sentry Continues As The Coast Guard's Primary Maritime Patrol Aircraft
Airbus Defense and Space has delivered the 17th HC-144A Ocean Sentry maritime patrol aircraft to the U.S. Coast Guard. The Ocean Sentry is based on the Airbus CN235 tactical airlifter with more than 235 currently in operation by 29 countries. This is the second of three HC-144A's planned for delivery this year.
A Government Study Looks At The Potential For Lost US Jobs When Boeing Ceases Production At Its St. Louis Facility
A plan is in place to cease production of Boeing’s FA-18 fighter jets and EA-18G electronic attack planes at Boeing St. Louis production facility. Production will likely continue until mid-2017 and Boeing will be deciding whether to entirely close the production line or maintain parts of the line in operation for product support.
