One Marine Fatally Injured, Another Is Recovering. Five Still Missing

A USMC F/A-18 Hornet and a KC-130 Hercules have collided about 200 miles off the coast of Japan during a refueling exercise, resulting in the fatal injury of at least one of the personnel involved.

Will Take WWII Veterans To Washington D.C. On Dec. 6

On Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, Honor Flight Austin’s 56th Flight will depart Austin-Bergstrom International Airport for a special Pearl Harbor commemoration flight to Washington D.C. The flight will transport 12 World War II veterans to the nation’s capital to visit and experience the memorials built in their honor. They will also participate in the annual Pearl Harbor Day event at the WWII Memorial, as well as a special visit to the White House. This is Honor Flight’s fifth flight for fall 2018.
