Airmen of the German Air Force (Luftwaffe), supported by
Lockheed Martin and the US Army Lower Tier Project Office,
successfully conducted the second international PAC-3 Missile
flight test Thursday at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The test
successfully fired a PAC-3 Missile from a German Patriot fire unit
with Configuration-3 upgrades.
As the unmanned aerial system mission continues to grow in the
Air National Guard, the 163rd Maintenance Group is stepping up its
training program to ensure the availability of enough highly
skilled people to support these systems.
Lockheed Martin Says Time Included First Combat Missions Flown

The Italian Air Force has achieved 75,000 flight hours with its
fleet of C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft, according to
manufacturer Lockheed Martin. That time included the first combat
missions flown in the C-130J, as well as the delivery of
humanitarian relief supplies.
Patria of Finland recently flew CMC Electronics' Cockpit 4000
integrated avionics suite on the Hawk Mk51 trainer aircraft from
Halli Airfield, Finland. CMC's avionics suite performed
successfully during the one hour and 40-minute first flight, which
was flown by two Finnish Air Force test pilots.
