Members of the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) have elected Carol L. Comer, Director, Division of Intermodal, Georgia Department of Transportation, as Chair of the Board of Directors for 2015. Comer has been a member of NASAO since February 2008 and previously served as NASAO's vice chairman, treasurer and secretary of the board.

NTSB: GA Accident Rate Down In 2013

Reports First Fatalities On U.S. Airlines And Commuters In Three Years

The NTSB has released preliminary aviation accident statistics showing an overall decline in the number of US registered civil aviation accidents. The number of civil aviation accidents fell from 1,539 in 2012 to 1,297 in 2013.
