Leasing Company Adds Six 787-9s, Five 737 MAX 9s To Portfolio

Boeing and leasing company Avolon have finalized an order for six 787-9 Dreamliners and five additional 737 MAX 9s, valued at more than $2.1 billion at list prices. Avolon announced a commitment to purchase the airplanes during the 2014 Farnborough Airshow in July.

New Procedures Going Into Effect Thursday At Multiple Airports

The FAA is readying the launch of its second NextGen-related airspace revision project of the year, with significant changes to arrival and departure procedures over the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX metropolitan area scheduled to go into effect Thursday, Sept. 18. The North Texas Metroplex project will replace most standard terminal arrival route (STAR) and standard instrument departure (SID) procedures for both Dallas/Forth Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Field (DAL) with new procedures.

Republic Airways To Expand Large Regional Jet Operations With United Airlines

Will Operate 50 New Embraer E175 Aircraft

Republic Airways Holdings has reached an agreement to amend its existing Shuttle America E-Jet capacity purchase agreement (”CPA”) with United Airlines to add 50 new Embraer 76-seat E175 aircraft. The duration of each aircraft under the E-Jet CPA will be 12 years.
