Reforms To ACAP, Infrastructure Eligibility For Small NAS Airports Much Needed
The Canadian Airports Council recently welcomed the announcement by Transport Minister Marc Garneau of $27.6 million in funding for 13 regional airports under the Airports Capital Assistance Program. The trade association for airports, however, urges the federal government to act on recommendations to improve capital fund options for small airports going forward.
Myanmar's Department Of Civil Aviation And Aireon Sign MOA To Study Improvements To Airspace Safety
Aireon LLC announced today that it has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) in Myanmar. DCA will collaborate with Aireon to develop a concept of operations and benefits analysis for the deployment of Aireon's space-based Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) service.
Returning to the Burlington Waterfront for the first time in a decade, Wings Over Vermont will perform free air shows to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Vermont Air National Guard. Put on by the Vermont National Guard Charitable Foundation, two free shows will take place Saturday, August 13, and Sunday, August 14, along Burlington’s Waterfront and Battery Parks.
