Hartzell Propeller and Mooney International Corp. are again in business together as the aircraft manufacturer has begun production on the first new Mooney airplane in five years. Hartzell Propeller has initiated deliveries of the company’s three-blade, blended airfoil, scimitar props to Mooney’s manufacturing operation in Kerrville, TX, for factory installation on its Ovation and Acclaim Type S aircraft models.
Three Twin-Engine Seminoles To Join The University Of North Dakota Fleet
Piper has taken orders for three twin-engine piston-powered Training Class Piper Seminole aircraft from the UND Aerospace Foundation who provides training and aircraft for the University of North Dakota's John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences. The pilot training aircraft will be delivered later this year and join the Aviation Department's training fleet of more than 120 aircraft.
