Grob Aircraft, headquartered in Mattsies, Germany, and BRS
Aerospace of South St. Paul, Minnesota, said Tuesday they have
agreed to form a strategic partnership for the design and
utilization of BRS’ ballistic parachute aircraft recovery
systems for the Grob line of screening, elementary, and basic
training aircraft.
Steinbach Flight School Owner Takes Canada's Only Award For
Instructors
Harv Penner, the owner of Harv's Air in Steinbach, Manitoba,
Canada, has won that country's David Charles Abramson Memorial
Flight Instructor Safety Award. The honor was bestowed at the
Air Transportation Association of Canada's annual convention in
Quebec City last week.
Says FAA Is Taking Too Long To Implement Basic Safety
Rules
NTSB Chair Deborah Hersman opened the FAA International Runway
Summit Tuesday by chiding the agency for leaving six runway safety
recommendations open since 2000, the year they were presented by
the NTSB.
Court Said It Would Have "Changed The Status Quo" Prior To
Trial
On November 23, 2009, a Motion for Preliminary Injunction (PI)
filed against the National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI)
by the Hills and Rich Stowell was heard in Los Angeles. The
injunction was not granted.
