Avidyne has taken the wraps off the long-rumored Vantage Flight Display Systems, and disclosed that their first Vantage certification program will be a dual 12-inch diagonal upgrade for legacy SR20/SR22 aircraft with the Entegra Flight Deck. Avidyne Vantage features synthetic vision, hybrid touch user interface, dual-AHRS MFD reversion, and much more. Pilot’s Discretion When used in conjunction with altitude assignments, means that ATC has offered the pilot the option of starting climb or descent whenever he/she wishes and conducting the climb or descent at any rate he/she wishes.
