Source: Former USAF procurement officer and
(briefly) Boeing Vice President Darleen Druyun, who pleaded guilty
Tuesday to one count of conspiracy in federal court. She admitted
that she negotiated a secret employment deal with fired Boeing CFO
Michael Sears while still overseeing the competition between Boeing
and Airbus for a contract to replace the aging USAF tanker fleet.
She'll be sentenced on August 6th and is cooperating with
investigators.
