One feels instinctively that it's on the road to nowhere much at all." Source: George Fraser, the director of the space research centre at the University of Leicester in Britain, commenting on NASA's proposal to trim its International Space Station operating budget by $344 million. Several programs -- including many of interest to European partners in the station -- would be delayed or cancelled outright if such measures are adopted.
