The Aircraft Will Be The First Bell 429S To Be Used For Flight Calibration Operations

Bell Helicopter has delivered two Bell 429s to PT. Carpediem Mandiri for supply to the Flight Calibration Department of the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation. The delivery marks the first two Bell 429s to be used for flight calibration operations throughout Indonesia, performing instrument calibration for Helicopter Ground Instrument Landing and Departing Systems at airports, heliports and helipads.

FAA Certifies Honeywell DU-875 LCD Cockpit Screen Upgrade On Global Express

Pentastar Aviation Obtains Certification For The Installation 

The FAA has awarded an AML STC to Pentastar Aviation for certification of Honeywell’s DU-875 flight deck display upgrade on Global Express airframes.  The DU-875 is a form-fit plug-n-play LCD upgrade that will replace the soon-to-be-obsolete CRT DU-870 CRT displays found in older aircraft. Honeywell plans to discontinue product support and repair on the DU-870 displays in the near future.
