PAL Aerospace Awarded Aerial Surveillance Contract By The Government Of Canada

Provides The Capability To Monitor Domestic And Foreign Vessel Activities And Detect Potential Violations

The government of Canada has awarded a contract to PAL Aerospace to provide aerial surveillance for Canada's inland, coastal and offshore waters. The expanded contract, delivered on behalf of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, covers an initial five-year period and includes opportunities for PAL Aerospace to earn contract extensions that increase the life of the agreement to ten years. PAL Aerospace has been providing this critical service under contract to the Government since 1990.

Safran Partners With CHC Helicopter for Arriel Engine Support

Some 70 Engines Covered By The Agreement

Safran Helicopter Engines and CHC Helicopter have signed a four-year MRO support contract. This contract formalizes a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul and standard exchanges agreement supporting Arriel 1S, 2S1 and 2S2 engines for CHC's S-76 fleet; and Arriel 2C powering the AS365 Dauphin. Roughly 70 engines are covered by the agreement.

Airbus Helicopters Announces 43 Orders At Heli-Expo 2019

New H145 Version Secured Launch Customers In Key Mission Segments

Airbus Helicopters wrapped up the 2019 edition of Heli-Expo with 43 orders from worldwide customers announced for the whole Airbus civil product range - H125, H130, H135, H145, H160, H175 and H225. Twenty-one helicopters of the 43 orders announced at the show were from longstanding Airbus Helicopters customer Air Medical Group Holdings (AMGH), which unveiled a contract for a mix of single-engine H125s and twin-engine H135s.
