Airborne 03.11.19: SpaceX Crew Dragon, Austro AE300, Airbus New H145

NASA passed a major milestone Friday in its goal to restore America’s human spaceflight capability when SpaceX’s Crew Dragon returned to Earth after a five-day mission docked to the International Space Station. About 6 hours after departing the space station, Crew Dragon splashed down at 8:45 a.m. EST approximately 230 miles off the coast of Cape Canaveral, Florida. SpaceX retrieved the spacecraft from the Atlantic Ocean. Demonstration Mission-1 (Demo-1) was an uncrewed flight test designed to demonstrate a new commercial capability developed under NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. Short Films Will Be Inspired By, And Use, Actual NASA Imagery

As the world celebrates the 50th anniversary of the first human Moon landing this July and NASA rededicates itself to putting more boot prints on the lunar surface, filmmakers around the world will be making their final cuts at entries for "CineSpace," a short-film competition that will share their works inspired by -- and using -- actual NASA imagery.
