The Design Allows For Quick Configuration Changes

The first of its kind, DA62 SurveyStar, has been handed over To GeoFly. Despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, system integration went flawless in all directions. Considering that it is the first customer aircraft and involved numerous parties from various countries, it cannot be taken as given but once again demonstrates the strength of Diamond’s Special Mission Aircraft Division, to act as the single point of contact towards the customer in order to provide a ready-to-fly turnkey solution.

Aquiline Drones Promotes 'Made in America' UAV Product Line

A Series Of Made-In-America Commercial Drones Will Be Built In Connecticut

Aquiline Drones (AD) is attempting to meet the increasing demand for "Made in America" drones by opening the first drone manufacturing and assembly plant in Connecticut. The Hartford-based aviation cloud solutions provider and commercial drone manufacturer now produces Drone Volt's Altura Zenith and Hercules 2 drones – re-branded by AD as the Spartacus line of drones: Spartacus MACKS and Spartacus HURRICANE.

AD: Airbus Helicopters

AD 2021-03-16 Requires Inspecting Each Sliding Door

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Airbus Helicopters Model AS350B, AS350B1, AS350B2, AS350B3, AS350BA, AS350D, AS355E, AS355F, AS355F1, AS355F2, AS355N, and AS355NP helicopters. This AD was prompted by the in-flight loss of a sliding door. This AD requires inspecting each sliding door and replacing the upper rail or front roller or removing the front roller from service if necessary. The actions of this AD are intended to address an unsafe condition on these products. This AD becomes effective March 3, 2021.
