FlightSafety To Work With Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs

Will Provide Unmanned Systems Training

FlightSafety International has been selected by Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs (CNSP) to provide Unmanned Systems Training. The CNSP will begin with eLearning Part 107 Test Preparation and eLearning UAS Essentials Library. This will be followed by Theoretical and Practical UAS Instructor led training. The Trusted Operator Program (TOP) Certification Level 1 requirements will be met with the Part 107 Test Preparation course, and Levels 2 and 3 certification requirements will be met with our Instructor-led courses.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has released its investigation report (A18W0129) concerning an aircraft which capsize during a water landing that took place in August 2018, on Little Doctor Lake, Northwest Territories. In the report, the TSB re-emphasized the need for aircraft emergency exits to meet the basis of certification in order to permit safe egress in case of an emergency.

First AW169M Delivered To Italy's Guardia Di Finanza

Helicopters Will Be Used For Maritime Patrol, Land Reconnaissance And Mountain Rescue Missions

Leonardo has delivered the first of 22 latest-generation AW169M light intermediate twin-engine helicopters for Italy’s Guardia di Finanza. The handover event was held at Leonardo’s Vergiate plant on 12 November. The initial delivery is linked to a contract worth 280 million euros, which was signed at the end of 2018, it also includes a complete support and training package that could be extended in the future for further services with an additional value of 100 million euros (approx $111 million).

Airbus Helicopters Delivers First H145M To Luxembourg

Entry Into Service Expected In Early 2020

Airbus Helicopters has delivered the first of two H145M multipurpose helicopters for defence and security missions to the Government of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg. Together with the helicopters, Airbus also provides a training and support package. The delivery of the second helicopter is scheduled before the end of the year. The delivered H145M is the first H145 in Luxembourg.
