Aircraft Will Join China Southern Airlines' E-Jets Fleet In China's Xinjiang Region

Embraer's E-Jets program reaches a significant milestone with the delivery of the 800th aircraft - an Embraer 190, in a tripartite ceremony held Tuesday at the Company's headquarters in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil, between Embraer, the aircraft's recipient CDB Leasing Co., Ltd. (CLC), and the jet's operator China Southern Air Holding Xinjiang Company, a subsidiary of China Southern Airlines.

China Eastern Selects V2500S For 50 Aircraft

Embraer Also Selects The Powerplant For KC-390s

China Eastern Airlines has selected International Aero Engines to provide V2500 engines to power 50 new A320 series aircraft. The deal also includes comprehensive long-term engine aftermarket services. In announcing the agreement Tuesday, the companies said deliveries will commence in August 2012 and continue to 2015, and China Eastern will employ the new V2500s to expand the capacity of its fleet.

TUI Travel Orders Rolls-Royce Trent 700 Engines

Powerplants To Be Hung On Travel Company's New A330s

Rolls-Royce has won a contract from leisure travel company TUI Travel PLC to provide Trent 700 engines to power two Airbus A330 aircraft which will also be covered by TotalCare long-term support services. The aircraft will be operated by TUI's subsidiary Corsairfly and the contract also includes maintenance agreements for two additional A330s already in service with the airline.
