after a suspicious package was located.

Things aren't getting any better on the nation's airlines.
Figures released Tuesday by the Department of Transportation show
carriers posted a sharp increase in cancellations through May of
this year, and the lowest percentage of on-time flights since the
DOT began keeping track of performance in 1995.
The lawyer who caused an international health scare in May when
he continued with his transatlantic travel plans for his wedding,
despite a tuberculosis diagnosis, has now been found to be infected
with a far less dangerous form of the disease than originally
thought.

The US Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) announced Tuesday the Dominican Republic
complies with international safety standards set by the
International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), following a
reassessment of the country’s civil aviation authority on
