Corroborating the adage that you can't make everyone happy
all of the time, the FAA's newly revised proposed changes to its
plan to reroute traffic leaving PHL to reduce aircraft noise on the
ground has once again been met with local criticism.
A Virgin Atlantic pilot, having failed a breathalyzer and
held at Heathrow March 31 prior to a flight to JFK, is one happy
man now, as science and diet have cleared his good name.
It was an unhappy Easter-weekend for about 180 passengers,
whose flight was cancelled Friday because of some X-rated
language the pilot tossed out on board a Northwest Airlines flight
bound for Detroit from Las Vegas.
