Tout Coconut-Derived Fuel As Sustainable Energy Source
On Sunday, Boeing, Virgin Atlantic and GE Aviation conducted
what those companies called the first commercial aviation flight
using a sustainable fuel from biomass, mixed with traditional
kerosene-based jet fuel.
Relatives Say Woman Was Denied O2, Equipment Malfunctioned
An American Airlines passenger died onboard a flight from Haiti
last Friday, after being denied access to oxygen twice... and then
finding the plane's onboard O2 tanks were empty, according to one
of the woman's relatives.
The South China Sunday Morning Post reports veteran pilot Ian
Wilkinson was piloting a new Boeing 777-300ER from Paine Field,
near Boeing's plant at Everett, Washington, to its new home in Hong
Kong when he reportedly came around and did a low pass. And we mean
low.
Two pilots under suspicion for napping on an inter-island go!
Airlines flight have been suspended by the carrier, pending the
completion of an FAA investigation.
