The first major flight hardware for the fifth and final space
shuttle servicing mission to NASA's Hubble Space Telescope is
starting to arrive at the Kennedy Space Center, FL to begin
preparations for its targeted October launch.
Sea Launch Company tells ANN it successfully launched the
EchoStar XI broadcast satellite Tuesday from its ocean-based
platform on the Equator, marking its fourth successful mission of
2008 and its third mission for DISH Network.

Plan on 2015. That's the word from NASA this week, as the agency
admits it "very likely" will not be able to meet its ambitious goal
of started manned spaceflights with its Orion spacecraft in five
years. But even that date is in flux.
The Red Planet was once a very wet planet, according to new data
from NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. Two studies based on the
data have revealed Mars once hosted vast lakes, flowing rivers and
a variety of other wet environments that had the potential to
support life.
