Airborne 04.13.16: 1st US A321, ERAU Kills Airshow, Jet Pack Crash

According to Airbus, the first U.S.-built Airbus A321 airplane will be delivered later this month to JetBlue. This airplane is the first to be assembled at the Airbus Mobile, Alabama plant that opened last year. The European planemaker spent about $600 million to build the plant on 53 acres near Mobile, and it’s planned to produce up to Fifty A320 family airplanes per year. Another major air event has been canceled due to a lack of economic support. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and show producer, David Schultz Air Shows, have announced that the 2016 Wings and Waves Air Show schedule

NASA: Saturn Spacecraft Not Affected By Hypothetical Planet 9

Says No Unexplained Orbit Anomalies Have Been Detected With The Spacecraft

Contrary to recent reports, NASA's Cassini spacecraft is not experiencing unexplained deviations in its orbit around Saturn, according to mission managers and orbit determination experts at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.
