Airborne 04.13.16: 1st US A321, ERAU Kills Airshow, Jet Pack Crash

According to Airbus, the first U.S.-built Airbus A321 airplane will be delivered later this month to JetBlue. This airplane is the first to be assembled at the Airbus Mobile, Alabama plant that opened last year. The European planemaker spent about $600 million to build the plant on 53 acres near Mobile, and it’s planned to produce up to Fifty A320 family airplanes per year. Another major air event has been canceled due to a lack of economic support.
