Military And Civilian Demonstration Teams Release 2015 Schedules

From The Blue Angels To The Breitling Jet Team, Airshow Attendees Have A Lot To Look Forward To

Most of the major military and civilian demonstration teams have released their 2015 performance schedules, and from the looks of things, airshow attendees will have plenty to watch for this season.

The blog Airshowstuff.com has assembled a list of the schedules so you can check the status of your favorites. Some of the highlights include the first North American tour of the Breitling Jet team with performances planned on both coasts as well as throughout the heartland. The team performs in 7 L-39 Albatros aircraft, the same kind used by US civilian jet teams such as the Patriots and Black Diamond.

Among the military teams touring this season, the Blue Angels kick off at the NAF (Naval Air Facility) El Centro Air Show, El Centro, CA on March 14 and perform nearly every weekend through November. The Air Force Thunderbirds will open their season with flyovers at the Super Bowl February 1st and the Daytona 500 February 22nd, and then the first full performance March 14th in Titusville, FL.

The first performance of the Canadian Snowbirds will be May 1 in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. The U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team begins on March 28-29 at the Florida International Air Show / Keesler AFB Open House.

It looks like it'll be a great season on the airshow circuit. We hope you'll be attending an airshow near you.
