New Gulfstream G550 Simulator To Be Installed And Certified By Year-End

FlightSafety has announced that its latest Gulfstream G550 aircraft simulator will be installed its Greater Philadelphia/Wilmington Learning Center. “We have made this additional investment in order to continue to provide those who fly and maintain Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft the value, training schedule flexibility and access they deserve,” said Bruce Whitman, President, FlightSafety International.

This new advanced technology simulator will receive FAA Level “D” certification following installation. Manufactured at the company’s facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Gulfstream G550 simulator’s advanced visual and motion systems combine to create the highest level of fidelity available.

FlightSafety’s VITAL 9 visual system presents highly detailed, texture enhanced scenes and excels in its realistic presentation of both routine and critical weather conditions. Pilots and maintenance technicians training at the Learning Center will also benefit from FlightSafety’s MatriX interactive training capabilities, including the SimVu debriefing systems.

FlightSafety is the official factory authorized training organization for Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. “Our commitment to excellence in safety and industry leading training programs has enabled FlightSafety to develop and maintain this important relationship with Gulfstream and their valued customers,” added Mr. Whitman.

The company also offers training on Gulfstream aircraft at its Learning Centers in Savannah, Georgia; Dallas, Texas; and Long Beach, California.
