Reports 20 Percent Growth Over 2009
Despite a down economy, Becker Avionics Inc. reports that it
exceeded expectations in financial information released Monday. The
company says it generated revenues of $5.5 million, compared to
$3.6 million in 2009, and an underlying growth of over 20% during
the same period last year.
"2010 was an exhilarating year for us," said company president
Markus Schmitz. "Becker Avionics ... completed 2010 with
significant revenue growth, strong margin improvement and full
order books. We have won a number of new clients and managed to
deliver critical projects on time and on target. We have been
recognized in the aviation business community as a company that
delivers powerful and quality products, as well as top-notch
product support."
"Our Digital Audio and Intercom system, the DVCS6100, performed
particularly well in the US and we were able to further develop our
market leader position in the airborne audio segment," he
continued. "Moving forward, we will continue to challenge ourselves
to deliver high quality products and services to our
customers."
Roland Becker, Chairman of the German based Becker Avionics
Group added "We have accomplished this by focusing on our customers
and providing them with innovative products which offer operational
and cost efficiency benefits. We are continually looking for and
delivering, better efficiency across our operations, which is
allowing us to increase our investment in growth opportunities. We
had a strong finish to the year in the U.S. and are pleased with
our achievements in these challenging conditions."
