Becker Avionics Reports Good Financial Numbers For 2010

Reports 20 Percent Growth Over 2009

Despite a down economy, Becker Avionics Inc. reports that it exceeded expectations in financial information released Monday. The company says it generated revenues of $5.5 million, compared to $3.6 million in 2009, and an underlying growth of over 20% during the same period last year.

"2010 was an exhilarating year for us," said company president Markus Schmitz. "Becker Avionics ... completed 2010 with significant revenue growth, strong margin improvement and full order books. We have won a number of new clients and managed to deliver critical projects on time and on target. We have been recognized in the aviation business community as a company that delivers powerful and quality products, as well as top-notch product support."

"Our Digital Audio and Intercom system, the DVCS6100, performed particularly well in the US and we were able to further develop our market leader position in the airborne audio segment," he continued. "Moving forward, we will continue to challenge ourselves to deliver high quality products and services to our customers."

Roland Becker, Chairman of the German based Becker Avionics Group added "We have accomplished this by focusing on our customers and providing them with innovative products which offer operational and cost efficiency benefits. We are continually looking for and delivering, better efficiency across our operations, which is allowing us to increase our investment in growth opportunities. We had a strong finish to the year in the U.S. and are pleased with our achievements in these challenging conditions."
