Delta AirElite Continues Charter Fleet Expansion

Adds Two New Aircraft To Fleet Of 400+

Even as parent company Delta Air Lines fights its way through bankruptcy, that airline's fractional operator -- Delta AirElite Business Jets -- continues to expand its fleet. Delta AirElite recently announced the addition of two more aircraft to its fleet -- a Citation X and a Learjet 31A.

The Citation X is based near Miami, FL at Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport (TMB), and the Learjet 31A is based at the Delta AirElite Jet Center at the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).

"The Citation X has been a very popular super-midsize aircraft because of its speed and comfortable cabin," said Michael B. Green, president and chief executive officer of Delta AirElite Business Jets. "This aircraft not only complements our fleet, but its strategic location in Florida enhances our ability to quickly respond to our customer’s travel needs."

The speedy Citation X (right), which cruises at up to 600 mph, offers seating for eight passengers and a range of 3,300 miles. The aircraft offers a spacious stand-up cabin with a full complement of cabin amenities for comfortable travel and a productive work environment.

The seven-passenger Learjet 31A is one of the fastest jets in its class, with speeds up to 533 mph and a range of 1,400 miles. The aircraft continues to be a popular choice for both Fleet Members and charter customers.

"The addition of the Citation X and Learjet 31A enhances our capabilities to serve our customers." Green continued. "As demand for Fleet Membership and charter continues to grow, we’re committed to offering our customers one of the largest, most diverse fleet of popular late-model aircraft in the industry."

With access to more than 400 business jets positioned throughout the United States, Delta AirElite is strategically increasing its fleet size through charter management agreements.

Those agreements allow Delta AirElite to increase aircraft availability without large capital commitments and offer on-demand charter service on a broad base of high-quality, well-maintained corporate jets.
