Registration Now Open For The FAA UAS Symposium

Sessions To Be Held March 27-29

On March 27–29, 2017 the Federal Aviation Administration and the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) are partnering to host the FAA UAS Symposium.

This Symposium will provide stakeholders with the opportunity to talk face-to-face with a cross-section of government and industry representatives about regulations, research, and other initiatives to integrate UAS into the National Airspace System (NAS). This year's content will focus on initiatives to overcome technical challenges to safe UAS operations, as well as industry partnerships advancing integration.

The agenda will consist of plenary remarks from FAA senior leadership on future regulatory efforts and agency activities; breakout sessions on various topics of interest relevant to a wide range of stakeholders; and technical workshops with Agency subject matter experts.

The FAA will also operate a resource booth throughout the Symposium to provide one-on-one technical support on authorizations, waivers, Part 107 requirements, and other policies and regulations.
