AvConnect, Hilton Software Partner For New iPad App

Software Developed To Deliver Instant Flight And Aircraft Data Via The Apple Tablet

AvConnect announced its integration with WingX Pro7 for iPad by Hilton Software LLC; giving customers virtually two applications in one.

Both companies will be demonstrating these combined features this week at NBAA 2011 in Las Vegas, NV. "Our WingX Pro7 integration with AvConnect enables pilots to easily review their flights in 3D using Google Earth." said Dr. Hilton Goldstein, CEO of Hilton Software LLC, in a news release Monday. "As part of our integration, WingX Pro7 users will be able to easily store and view detailed flight information in AvConnect's Pilot and Aircraft Management System."

Erik Murrey, CEO of AvConnect, stated, "With AvConnect's cloud-based capabilities, we take an enormous amount of data from a sophisticated app like WingX, organize and disseminate that data into invaluable records for a pilot and/or owner. From logbook entries to maintenance tables and ultimately aircraft performance data, information is collected directly from WingX Pro7 for iPad, and immediately populated into our customers' accounts. This is key in reducing pilot workload, human error, and ultimately providing hard facts for quality assurance."

AvConnect is now available through WingX Pro7 for iPad, and these new features will be available in the next update of WingX Pro.
