Aircraft To Be Deployed On Haiti-Based Carrier’s First-Ever Flights To/From North America, Launching Oct. 2017
Sunrise Airways has ordered a next generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft, continuing the Haiti-based carrier’s aggressive expansion. The second jet aircraft to be added to the Sunrise Airways fleet in 2017, the 168-seat Boeing 737 is being acquired through a wet lease agreement with Travel Service, the largest aviation company in the Czech Republic.
Sunrise Airways will deploy its new Boeing 737-800 along its new routes to Orlando and Miami from its hub in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Sunrise Airways’ new service to/from Orlando begins October 18, 2017, while its Miami flights launch November 14, 2017.

The new Sunrise Airways Boeing 737 will feature two classes of service – business and economy – with maximum seating for 168 passengers; 18 in business class, 150 in economy. The aircraft sports an eye-catching new livery, all-leather seating, and inflight video entertainment. Delivery is expected during the first week of October 2017.
The Sunrise Airways fleet also includes a 150-seat Airbus A320, which is currently deployed along Sunrise Airways routes from its hub in Port-au-Prince to three gateways in Cuba – Havana, Santiago de Cuba, and Camaguey.
