FAA Approves Avjet BBJs For Part 135 Charter

Boeing Business Jets Currently Based In Los Angeles And Miami

Avjet Corporation said Thursday that it has become the only Boeing Business Jet operator in the United States approved for Part 135 global charter. The Part 135 certificate required rigorous reviews and approvals by the FAA and the DOT. The BBJs are part of Avjet's charter fleet of high-performance, large cabin jets from all major manufacturers including Boeing, Gulfstream, Bombardier and Dassault Falcon.

"This is a rare distinction to be the exclusive operator of BBJs approved for Part 135 global air charter service," said Mark H. Lefever, Avjet's President and Chief Operating Officer. "Avjet is already a world leader in BBJ sales, management and completions management. This is yet another example of Avjet's leadership in ultra-long range private air travel."

Avjet recently added a second BBJ to its diversified fleet and now has two BBJs, based in Burbank, CA, and Miami, FL.  "This gives us a greater ability to serve our customers coast to coast as well as internationally," said Lefever.

The company is headquartered in Burbank, CA, and maintains a global presence in Washington, D.C., Seoul, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Moscow and other locations.
