Largest Fleet Order So Far For Newest SR22 Variant
PlaneSmart Aviation told ANN Thursday of its signing of a
multi-million dollar deal to replace the fractional's current fleet
of Cirrus SR22-G2s with all new Cirrus SR22-G3s. The agreement is
the largest fleet purchase of this type, since the new G3s were
introduced in April of this year.
"We have always strived to make sure our clients fly the very
best in aircraft technology available," said Jeffery A. Cullen,
PlaneSmart President and co-founder. "This new Cirrus SR22-G3 is
the result of 700 refinements that will allow our customers to go
higher, farther, faster and safer than ever before. Given the high
level of customer satisfaction we have had with our G2s, the
combination of refined improvements on the G3 and our top rated
aircraft ownership program will make the aircraft ownership
experience the best yet."
PlaneSmart's new SR22-G3s will arrive from the factory will
virtually every option Cirrus offers, including air conditioning
and a new turbo-normalized engine which can maintain 75% - 85%
power all the way to the certified ceiling of 25,000 feet. All
PlaneSmart aircraft will be identically equipped for ease of
operation for clients.

transportation service to its customers," Cirrus CEO and Chairman
Alan Klapmeier remarked after completing the multimillion dollar
transaction with PlaneSmart. "We value them greatly as a customer
and are pleased to continue building our relationship with them
into the future."
PlaneSmart has locations in Addison and Austin, TX. The company
says it will soon open additional Texas locations in Houston and
San Antonio, and plans expansion to Phoenix, Los Angeles and San
Francisco.
