Aviation Horizons Earns Saudi Charter License

Company Specializes In Private Aviation Services

Jet charter company Aviation Horizons has obtained a Part 135 license from the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in Saudi Arabia. The approval was announced at a Tuesday press conference in Jeddah. Aviation Horizons' CEO Mohammed D. Bokhari signed a cooperation agreement with Saudia Private Aviation represented by Managing Director Wajdi A. Alidrissi, according to a report in The Chicago Tribune.

Based in Jeddah, Aviation Horizons was established in 2007 specializing in private aviation services including Private Jets' operations, aircraft charter, aircraft sales and acquisitions as well as focused consultation in private jet operations. This license is considered the first after the royal decree of separating the General Authority of Civil Aviation from the Ministry of Defense. Aviation Horizons has become an operator member of the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA).

"With the increasing demand in the Kingdom, our goal is to uplift the private aviation service and provide our clients with the optimum services they deserve to have", said Bokhari. "We look forward to cooperating with GACA and the private aviation companies to assist in increasing the efficiency of private aviation market in Saudi Arabia," he added.

Hosam A. Andijani, general manager of Aviation Horizons, said: "We are proud of our commitment and reliant on the Saudi professionals within Aviation Horizons. We believe it is our duty toward our country in supporting the Saudi employment and we'll continue our expansion though hiring best professionals to achieve the company's goals."
