Cirrus Owners And Friends Invited to Migration 6

COPA Annual Event Slated For July Arrival In Duluth

The Cirrus Owners & Pilots Association (COPA) announced its 6th annual Migration, Fly-in and Exposition, will be held at the home of Cirrus Design Corporation -- Duluth, MN -- from July 10 through July 13, 2008.

The Sixth annual event is expected to attract over 200 aircraft, 450 attendees and 50 exhibitors. In addition to a fantastic array of social activities, seminars and trade show that promises to be bigger and better than past years, Cirrus pilots and their families will be treated to two very special events.

The first is the eagerly awaited appearance of the incomparable aviation author and humorist, Rod Machado. Rod will debut a new presentation entitled "Single Pilot IFR Flying Strategies: Less Work, Greater Safety, More Fun."

"Come prepared to learn about communication efficiency, precision and non-precision approach techniques, interpreting NEXRAD imagery and much more! This program is excellent for seasoned IFR pros or those working on their instrument rating," said Machado.

The second event taking place at the Saturday evening banquet, is a performance by artist Lee Zimmerman -- an extraordinary painter who will create a completed original artwork to the accompaniment of live music right there at the banquet. The finished work will be auctioned and sold to the highest bidder, with the proceeds going to benefit COPA's pilot safety and education programs.
