Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum 'For Love Of Country' Gala and Auction Set For December 8th

The 2018 Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum “For Love of Country” Gala and Auction on December 8th, 2018 in Ford Island’s battle-scarred Hangar 79 will offer some spectacular and priceless items for aviators during this year’s event.

Among the dozens of lots available, highlights include:

Professional Jet Upset Recognition and Recovery Training Program

The package, donated by Flight Research, is a two-day program focused on training pilots to properly understand, assess and correct an upset condition. The course incorporates a specialized ground school on jet aerodynamics and basic test pilot information on aircraft limitations to help you become a safer, more confident, and better pilot. Two flights are conducted in an Aermacchi MB326 Impala and a Saberliner 60 aircraft. This training is provided by US Navy Test Pilot Instructors, Air Force Test Pilot Instructors, and NASA Astronauts at the Flight Research headquarters in Mojave, California.
