First Aircrew Program Designees (APD) Certificated By The FAA
Captain Timothy Bell and Zachary Davis, of CommutAir, have been appointed Aircrew Program Designees (APD) under the FAA Aircrew Designated Examiners (ADE) program.
This highest FAA designation "Reposes special trust and confidence in the integrity, diligence and discretion of the Aircrew Program Designee (APD) who has been found to have the necessary knowledge, skill, experience, interest and impartial judgement to merit special public responsibility" and allows Bell and Davis to perform airman type certifications on the ERJ-145 on behalf of the FAA.
"We congratulate Tim and Zach for achieving this milestone and it reflects highly on the quality of our flight training program. It also means that we can significantly increase our training throughput and get incoming pilots doing what they want to do – getting trained and flying as quickly as possible" said Joel T. Raymond, Chief Operating Officer at CommutAir.
This is excellent news for CommutAir, whose significant growth is leading to unprecedented hiring and advancement opportunities within all functional areas of the Company.
