JSSI Names Jason Schwab President Of Advisory Services

Will Be Responsible For Aircraft Consulting And Subscription Products

Jason Schwab has been named president of JSSI Advisory Services. In this new role, Schwab will lead the company's growing range of aircraft consulting services and subscription products.

"Jason (pictured) joins us with an outstanding mix of management, operations and aviation experience. He is a dynamic leader and will be a valued addition to the JSSI leadership team," said Neil W. Book, president and CEO of JSSI. "The appointment of Jason reflects our long-term commitment to delivering a diverse and exceptional portfolio of aircraft ownership and maintenance advisory services to new and existing clients around the world."

JSSI Advisory Services utilizes JSSI's global network of technical advisors and operational data collected over three decades. This technical, cross-platform expertise is applied to inspect aircraft, perform appraisals and manage complex maintenance events for clients. The full suite of services includes asset inspections, aircraft appraisals, maintenance cost planning, maintenance event management, insurance claims management, and the innovative Asset Monitoring Platform (AMP) portal. AMP is a unique web-based platform, providing business aviation lenders with access to critical and real-time data pertaining to their portfolio.

"This is an exciting opportunity to build on the unique range of consulting amenities the Advisory Services team has already introduced to the market," said Schwab. "I look forward to harnessing my broad range of public and private sector experience while working with the team to drive this part of the business forward and deliver an even higher level of service and support to JSSI clients and the business aviation market."

Schwab joins JSSI from Goldman Sachs, where he served as a trusted advisor to institutional clients on all aspects of wealth management. Previously, he was a U.S. Army Captain and OH-58D pilot with multiple combat tours. Schwab earned a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and an MBA in finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

JSSI manages over 8,000 maintenance events each year and covers almost every make and model of business and regional jet, turboprop and helicopter. As such, the company has a unique perspective into the actual costs associated with operating and maintaining aircraft and can offer a cross-section of services to aircraft owners, operators and financiers seeking guidance on asset management, valuations or ongoing aircraft ownership consultation.
