Washington Crash Claims Two

One Was in the Plane; Hero Came to Help

ANN News-Spy Steve wanted us to know about a tragedy near Yelm (WA) on Monday. The 71-year-old pilot, from Kent (WA), died in the wreck, and his passenger, 61, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

It is not known whether the plane was connected with a small airshow being held nearby; but an additional casualty became part of the sad story.

A passerby, a 54-year-old 'everyday hero' from Yelm, stopped to help the crash victims. He died of an apparent heart attack.
