Receives Final CASA Approval For Maintenance And Customization Of Bell 412 Models
Bell Helicopter's, Singapore Service Center has received approval from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) of Australia, to perform maintenance and customization on all Bell 412 models that are registered for operations in Australia. These operators can now take delivery of, and maintain their Bell helicopters through its entire life cycle at the Singapore facility.
“Customer demand for Bell helicopters and service offerings in the Asia-Pacific region are rapidly increasing, and we are taking steps to ensure our customers have what they need, when they need it,” said Michael Reagan, director, global services at Bell Helicopter. “Over the past few years, the Bell Helicopter team has been laser focused on obtaining certifications and approvals around the globe that will provide our customers with even more offerings.”
Bell says this approval adds to recent authorization for the Bell Helicopter Service Center in Singapore to perform inspection, testing, repair and modification for current production Bell Helicopter aircraft under the regulatory authorities of Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
“The CASA certification marks an important milestone in Bell Helicopter's strategy to increase our support level throughout the region,” said Michael Greene, general manager of the Singapore Service Center. “We look forward to bringing these increased offerings to our customers and supporting their missions.”
Bell Helicopter has the largest support network in the industry with 100+ authorized customer service facilities in 34 countries. Bell Helicopter’s global support network offers a variety of products and services including maintenance, repair and overhaul, blade repair, and customization, along with worldwide spares fulfillment and distribution through five global distribution centers.
