Will Handle Marketing For Cessna Jets In Eastern Canada

Execaire tells ANN it recently appointed Tony Caruso as regional sales manager of the company's aircraft sales division. Caruso will be responsible for marketing and sales of Cessna's line of business jets in Eastern Canada. He will be based in Montreal, reporting to Ray Kuliavas, vice-president, aircraft sales. The appointment takes effect July 1.

Caruso has a graduate degree in mechanical engineering from Concordia University in Montreal and more than 20 years experience in aviation sales and marketing. Most recently, he worked at EMS SATCOM as account manager, responsible for the company's commercial Satcom sales in Canada and North Eastern US. He has held positions at several other aviation companies including Perkin Elmer, Lucas Aerospace, AlliedSignal Aerospace and Avcorp Industries.

"We have followed Caruso's career throughout the years, witnessing his excellent record in sales and marketing, and we hold his skills and integrity in high regard", says Kuliavas. "With his extensive experience in the corporate aviation industry, he is very qualified to take on this challenge."

Execaire is one of North America's longest serving corporate aircraft companies, and has managed, maintained and operated aircraft for more than 40 years. As the Citation Authourized Sales Representative for Canada, the company holds the dominant position for business jet sales in the country.

The company is a member of I.M.P.'s Innotech-Execaire Aviation Group, Canada's largest general aviation service provider, which is heavily involved in business aircraft sales, service, repair & overhaul, interior/exterior refurbishing, flight operations, aircraft management and charters, and is supported by a network of nine airport refueling bases.

The Aviation Group is wholly-owned by I.M.P. Group International Inc., a diversified multinational Canadian corporation with 3,500 employees in four countries. The company has extensive interests in aerospace, manufacturing, CanJet Airlines and general aviation services, healthcare, industrial marine products, and hotels.
